I only say this as we are now number 1 on msn for the term search engine optimisation

I know they only get a few percent of the traffic,but thats still an awfull lot of people.

Traffic has been on the increase for a while now, the trouble is I am backed up with work, this is why I intend to monetise the website a little, by adding new features, the trouble is I don't rush things and seldom have much free time.

I get that look when attempting weekend work....lol

Well done! And yes it would be very interesting to see how much traffic you get.

With that kind of term I don't think you can do your normal predictions or extrapolations based on UK search engine market share and searches on google (adwords stats exact searches) - the main reason being that if someone was looking for this service, and they were knowledgeable enough to know the industry term for the service, i.e. search engine optimisation, then they've probably heard of google too, and would probably be using google as their main search engine.

Live/msn is a funny one. One of our fairly new sites is number 3 in Live for a very competitive term - high search volume in Google Keyword Tool. Nowhere in Google yet.

To date - under three months old - Live has sent less traffic than Ezine where we have 3 relevant articles.
