Default Thinking of buying a property?

I extend a special offer to the first three A1 Business Forum subscribers who may be searching for a property to contact me.

Using inside knowledge of the property profession, we negotiate with estate agents, solicitors and surveyors to save substantial money on our clients' behalf.

The three people who take up this offer will pay the reduced rate of £150 inclusive of VAT. I hope they will be happy enough with the service to leave a testimonial to go on our website when the service is complete.

I look foward to hearing from you.

There's no real market at the moment due to lack of liquidity. So it's very difficult to assess "real" prices though there are plenty of opinions. Time will tell. What do you think?

I agree that it's tough out there at present, but feel there are still ample opportunities for property buyers to purchase at a price acceptable to them and at a level that enables them to offset any losses on the sale of their property - they may even make a profit.

My main concern is still for the first-time buyer. The recent goverment measures do not go far enough and I can see more people opting for rented accomodation in favour of having to find large deposits to purchase a property.

Mike, don't forget that you should now be able to add a hyperlink to your signature. Just log in to 'MyA1BF' and you'll be able to get that sorted out.

    Mark,

can you reply to my post also?

The offer needs to show what the actual saving is. ie normal price is X pounds, you pay just £150.

    Indizine,

Thanks for that. Bit of a glaring omission on my part.

The normal price for the service is £499 inclusive of VAT.

The offer figure of £150 is also a fully inclusive price.

I decided to withdraw the cost from the site yesterday as I felt I was giving a little too much information away and wanted to leave something for potential clients to make contact and ask for more information - giving me an opportunity to talk to them personally and hopefully secure them as a customer.

    Any thoughts on this tactic?

well I think you will find that just saying 'its normally £499 but to you its £150' wont have the response you desire. Its also a huge drop. What makes it worth £499 when you can in fact sell it to me for £150? would be the question running through the mind of the reader.

    Fair point!

The offer is made with future business in mind. As time goes on, I want to secure some corporate clients in order to take care of their employee relocation needs.

I would like to get some testimonials from business owners to help with this objective and thought that an offer to A1 members might have the result that I'm looking for.

well as long as you can sustain the drop. Watch out when you go back up full price, peole tend to refer you to others, at the (great) price they got it for.
