NOT!!!!

Just leaving work, got in the car and didn't get very far as it broke :sad1:

I knew I had a slight hole in my catalytic convertor but apparently it sounds like it has now collapsed and shall need replacing and god knows what else it has gone wrong. Full diagnosis can't be done till next week sometime

Now I need chocolate!!!!!

It's sitting at work in their driveway, and I pinched the spare company car, so it's not that bad I suppose.

I was getting quotes this morning to have it repaired (before it went bang) and it was about £300

now it will probably cost more knowing my luck.

It would be OK but I brought the car in June for £500 and so far have had to spend £1k on it to keep it running. My partner has the idea that if I keep fixing it at least I then know that part won't go wrong or need replacing soon.

Oh No....what a nightmare

The CAT is quite a major part of the car hence the cost....they thankfully do not go very often.....what car is it?

It's a Fiat Bravo 1.6 1998

It has soo many things wrong with it, after the CAT it needs a new rear radius arm (?) and new window wiper motor.

I just need it to get to and from work for the next six months :sad1:

Are you paying a dealer to do the work and source the parts for you....?

What mileage is on the car and do you know when the timing belt was last done?

Ummmmmmm

When I first got it and the clutch slave cylinder went (2 days later) I took it to a garage that said they fixed everything, well for how much they charged me they should have done!!! BUt they didn't so now I have taken it to the garage my work use, and they fixed my front left ball joint? last week.

No idea when or if the timing belt has been changed and the mileage is high.

I think I brought a lemon of a car.

I'm currently eyeing up the three easter eggs sitting on the side, my partner keeps being given them at work, I'm in the wrong job
