I am working on our dog toy section at the moment...it is very lacking..
Can I ask what toys do you have for your dogs. What do you look for in their toys... silent, noisy, indestructible? etc
Cheers
Chub
Need ones for two strong Staff jaws

I have a Patterdale Terrier he is just a little thing but he destroys toys like no ones business, we buy the hard plastic rings that have a vanilla and chocolate flavor, they last 3 days to a week, he has a black medium kong it has lasted 2 months, the red one we got that is call a stuff a ball or treat dispenser was missing bits within hours.
So what I'm saying is it needs to be very hard, a rope bone or a rope knot will last 5 minutes and a tennis ball 33 seconds (yes we timed him).
If you can fing me a toy that will last as well as the black kong that will fit his small jaws and does not make any noise, well I'll be forever in you debt.
We have 3 dogs at the farm and they all like very different toys. The big lab likes soft cuddly ones he can carry round and groom all day, the collie loves tennis balls and frisbies and the old boy likes anything that squeeks.
So I think you need a selection, we buy tennis balls just about every week because we lose them in the fields or the collie rips them to bits so if the price is low enough we would just keep buying (I know they are all spoilt rotten).
We also tried those balls on a rope toys but none of the dogs liked them.

I look for indestructible! We have a gorgeous Border Collie called Emmy who ends up ripping most toys to bits! Oh and something to help throw a ball when I take her out as its always covered in slaver!

i look for cute things, at the moment she has a cuddly pink poodle called polly (its actually polly 2 cos she bit the last ones bum off but she cried so much i got another one!) and a twisty brightly coloured ball thing, i also like funny ones like the tongue toy and the smiley face one, most of the toys i see are soooo boring and not very girly, my dog likes pink things
