Like it or not the Internet is the future.

I am amazed at the number of people who won't or can't comprehend how big a market place the World Wide Web is.

The Internet has made more millionaires in the last 12 months than traditional businesses have in the last 10 years.

My own business is Internet based and the growth I have experienced so far is extremely prodigious, also it is very exciting. However I am not going to promote my business here as I do not need to, but I am more than happy to show anyone if interested, just PM me.

The internet can make you lots of money - you just have to have the right idea at the right time and be able to implement it. Though it could be said its the same in any walk of life I spose. It just I think the internet gives more opportunity to find that idea.

Not quite sure what context you mean.

I don't agree. Sure it's a good tool. But I think people should remain on the side of caution. Especially privacy. Don't get carried away.

Somehow you're safest where there are less people.
Somehow you make more money running the other way.

Definitely the internet isn't going anywhere any time soon, and consider the power of the internet which wasnt here 40 years ago - so what will we have in another 40 years time? The mind boggles what some inventor might come up with next!

This made me chuckle because my maths teacher was Mrs Berners-Lee (Tim's mum). Who would have thought sitting in her boring lessons 30 years ago that she was partly responsible for changing the world!

    The internet is pretty old.

The only new thing is the web browser, some services and a few apps. Considering it was not designed for business, people seem to be hacking and shaping it pretty well.

I suggest we all run to the hills before we get chipped.

Have you ever noticed you are leaning closer toward the computer screen. Like now. It's pulling you in. Come. Come closer. Deeper....booo WAKE.

I think this could work only if you put in the effort by researching your market and promoting your site 24/7 for the next year.

my favourite story about getting rich from internet (not miraculously rich, though) is about a guy who made a web site, where he stated that he would be able to change a red paper clip for a house. And he managed to do so in half a year, if I'm not mistaken.
