On another note, it is the children who need to be implementing the correct hand hygiene procedures. Our recent study showed that 8 out of 10 British parents are failing to ensure that their children wash their hands before eating.

Thats because the parents don't wash them selves. what sort of image is that showing the kids?

It's true however, it is unrealistic to give out infection prevention advice too frequently. An outbreak, or an epidemic in the news gives the opportunity to update and improve procedures and habits around the home & business environment.

There are plenty of posters available and many schools are putting them up and even getting the children to design their own posters which is a great idea as they'll be learning about it too!
