    Get a VoIP line or mobile with loads of minutes. You can use those cheap calling cards to call abroad.

    yeah had the same problem , and change provider to tiscali, now my bills change 50%

    We don't have cable yet in our village so I cant have sky

    I have no experience of tiscali's phone package, although my Dad did have an absolute nightmare with them before when he tried to cancel his internet package.

    As for Sky, i don't believe you need cable, I think it runs off of your normal phone line.

    Sky is via a normal ADSL line (BT and such like)

    Virgin is via cable.
