I think we may have that deal, but don't think it includes mobiles. I also have skype and use this to call my niece in the States, but my sister does not have it.

Try calling your sisters phone using your skype

Use the dialing pad in Skype but set the drop down flag to be USA (ie: the picture of the flag next to where the phone number you are typing appears.)

When you call your Sister, use her local number and not the country code.

I think you'll find the call is free

Thanks for that Mike. I don't think my sister is on Skype yet, but I do speak with my neice a lot for nothing via Skype.

It seems to be the mobile charges which are crippling, since I need to contact our sitters via their mobile.

Nina, your sister doesn't need to be on Skype. You call her normal local phone number using your skype. If you set your location as USA it will cost you nothing
