Whilst sitting here tapping away on the laptop the above was on in the background....

They are redecorating a complete house, including wallpapering most of the rooms....refitting the kitchen, tiling, new carpets...everything. They have about 30 people running around like headless chickens...

Now I realise they probably actually take longer than a hour but can you imagine what that house will look like close up

There was a decorator painting the skirting whilst someone else was laying the carpet !

I am in the trade...and can just imagine what it looks like

Ive seen that program and thought the same thing!

the other day i caught it and saw that big brother chippy bloke cutting a hob hole in the worktop with a recip saw!

They also had a splash back to put in, instead of cutting it to shape, they just pulled the bottom of the cupboard out (which wasnt fixed to the wall ) and slid it in behind.

It probably looks good on camera, but they cant possibly do a good job while there is so much going on, regardless how many 60 minutes they have at it!

I would love to have a look round when they are finished....wonder if they have to put the house back to a reasonable standard when the cameras have gone !
