I've just been screwed out of a hundred quid for a bt directory ad that...
They didn't give a proof for (they don't need to apparantly...)
Had the wrong phone number on (my home number...no use to me when i'm at work...)
Had the wrong address on. (not so much a problem but still...)
And they duplicated my CORGI number on another competitors advert...very naughty.
The call center girl genuinely couldn't understand what my beef was with them and why I didn't want to pay the bill. I felt quite sorry for her, I could tell she knew I was right but she wasn't allowed to give in. The higher up the chain of command I get the more pig headed they became.
I just couldn't be arsed wasting the time to fight them over £100 and got rodded good and propper.
Don't get me started on them - I have an ongoing dispute which has been sent to artibration through OFCOM.
And yes - I'm charging them for my precious time that's been wasted waitign on for appointments and goign round in circles on the phone. Hence OFCOM are involved
Don't you just love it, i phoned up to get my account number, they can't give it me becuase if they do al queda will swoop in and launder billions of dollars through my telephone account!!!!
