Default duncan ballantine

Now its well known that I am a cynical old sceptic.

but was just having a peek at Duncans business history.

Pretty amazing.?

In 1990 he sold his ice cream empire for £28,000.

He then got into old peoples homes.

a mere 6 years later he sold the old people's homes for 46 million.

Pretty spectacular by any standards.

So my question is do you think the old people got ice cream for afters.?

Alvin

what book.?

My kids reckon I am worth more dead that alive.

But seems we are worth more alive to the the home industry.

Seems there has been a lot of investigations into poorly run care homes of late.

Well on reflection "poorly" don't seem to be apt for the horendous stories that have been coming out about the care and conditions that our senion citizens have been recieving.

I actually know a slightly different history to Mr Bannatyne as my ex's Aunt used to work at his house in Darlington.

Believe me, his business history is slightly more chequered and colourful then he likes people to here. Obviously I cannot post exactly why but lets just say at this point that some of his earlier business involved **cough** questionable material**

The man that owns Tunnocks (Tunnocks caramel wafers) takes a whole car load of teacakes and biscuits to his mum's (very expensive) nursing home every week!

In that case this About page is somewhat misleading.
