Default Petrol heads only.!

One of my kids has just bought one of these.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TVR_Chimaera

but bored to 5.3 litres and banging out 400 HP

Coming to see me next week and insists Dad has a go.

Not as bad as last time when he popped down in a Ferrari 550 and insisted I had a go 2 weeks after I came out of hospital after a heart by-pass.

But I suppose to keep the peace I will have to show him how to drive it.

Sometimes its hard to grow old gracefully.

Alvin

I love TVR's but I prefer the newer ones. I fancy a Sagaris.

Easier to park than the Ferrari 550, but not as pretty.

Hope you have RAC cover because the TVR is bound to break down with an electrical fault.

Its is in that car , the standard 320 HP does 0 to 60 in 4,1 and 0 t0 100 in 10.5

So this will chew the nuts of Porche and Ferrari's.

Brough up on Triumph Bonnies so the wet is no problem.

This will be mind blowingly awesome to drive. It will sound and move like it means business. And it will feel nicer than the Ferrari.

Alvin

It will only achieve those figures if doesnt sick up all its own oil over the back wheels during those few seconds!

I remember racing a modified griffith 500 a few years back in my kit car, i was right on his bumper up till about 130mph then his many hundreds of horses started to come good and let him creep away. was fun though as not many cars were a challenge to beat.

ive just ordered my new bike, cant wait to pick it up, 193bhp 0-60 in 2.5 0-100 in just over 5 seconds and the best part, i'll grow 3 inches while hanging on to it!

Andy.

Insane.

My old Bonnie had 46HP and that could scare me.
