I have just learned that my best friend has to go up to London for urgent heart surgery. She expected to be in for at least 3 weeks
We are both avid Liverpool supporters, so I have been trying to think of a present to cheer her up. Not flowers, or chocolates, but something she would really LOVE. A genuine autograph of Stevie G, or some of the other players.
I have looked on ebay, but you can never really know what is genuine on there and I now live down South so have no opportunity to stand at the gates waiting for the players to come out.
I thought of writing to the club, but would a letter be ignored do you think? If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it.
My friend is not dieing (please God), but they have found a large cyst on her heart valve and I think she is having it replaced. It is benign thank goodness.
I just know she would be made up if I could get her something signed by Stevie G, or some of the team.
Go straight to the top ....try phoning the football club.....and asking them, im sure they would do something like get him to sign a football shirt or ball.........

They often have auctions at charity nights here too Nina. They might tell you where they're being auctioned (signed stuff) and maybe I could bid on your behalf if it's local to the club
