No. No permission slip, signatures, even a letter to notify what they were doing. No details on how, where and how long they are stored for.

We've seen local council's using the anti terror legislation to catch litterbugs - what are they likely to get up to with fingerprint information!!

They take an infrared scan of their finger print to identify the child, and charge the cost of the school meal against their account.

It's a county wide strategy.

All children - regardless of whether they have packed lunches or school dinners.

I found out because i took my youngest for her first school dinner.
