Like the others said - not much can be said.

Disgusting and if that is the policy, not just a misguided staff member, I wish the staff well but the business and management to get what's probably coming. Not often I'd think like that.

On a slightly different note it did remind me when I was back in my home city, Brisbane (Aus) and went to a bar around the corner from my apartment - to get refused entry for not looking Australian enough. Whatever the hell that meant.

Another **** poor managerial decision. Why is it that we seem to have so many people in senior positions in this country, that don't seem to have any common sense? Degrees up to their eyes but they can't seem to understand anything apart from how to interpret corporate nonsense.

Agree totally - when we were in NY the service peeps got free access to pretty much everything!

It is disgraceful and hopefully pretty soon the hotel in question will find themselves with empty rooms from a boycott

the Yanks if nothing else are very proud of their military...something sadly lacking here in the UK

I simply cannot understand the apathy and resent,ment people feel towards our armed forces. These men and women are putting their very lives on the line, sometimes for causes they may not even believe in but they still do it because that is what they are paid (badly I might add) to do.

I would love to say to some of these half wits and war haters go and do what they do for just one day. Maybe then they would have more respect...

Tell you what, if you see a member of the armed forces today or you know someone who is in the forces, go up to them and shake their hand. No need to get mushy just let them know that you appreciate the fact that they are doing what they do...
