Ebay advice please

Yep get a dispute open asap to hold that money.

Although I do not use ebay anymore, buying or selling I do know that as a buyer you are in a very strong position as long as you pay with Paypal.

Irrespective of the Paypal address, as long as they are VERIFIED then you are 99.9% certain to get your moneyback whilst they investigate as Paypal are strong on BUYER PROTECTION.

I had one the other day not Feebay related, but a 'subscription' had been taken from my account without my consent, within 24 hours of banging in a claim, wham my money was back and case settled. (check your Paypal accounts for DBM they may be doing the rounds...)

Overall, three simple rules I would follow IF I was still buying off Ali Baba's Online Cave

Only trade with VERFIED PAYPAL MEMBERS
NEVER PAY WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN PAYPAL
Checkout the seller feedback vigourously and see if a similar item had been purchased previously by MORE THAN 1 PERSON (they can always sell 1 to their mates for + fb)

Well, I contacted the seller a couple of days ago and heard nothing, so I have lodged a complaint with both ebay and paypal.

Am just waiting to hear now, but will keep you posted.
