Can anyone recommend a website for watching share prices, a site which also provides plenty info regarding each particular company.

Something similar to london south east share site.

Ample is good (www.iii.co.uk). It's about 15 minutes behind the market of course, which free sites have to be. You can set up your own portfolio (dummy or real) and monitor all the share prices continuously.

You can also use it for dealing and if you register for that you get real time prices.

For live share information, you could try the London Stock Exchange website and you could also try The Motley Fool for information about share dealing. Hope that helps.
