After 24 days I honestly thought it wasn't looking good but it says alive and well

Well that is good news, I have a 9 year old daughter and I can't begin to imagine what the parents must have been going through.

I know I have had the pain of losing children but never of not knowing her mother must have gone to hell and back.

I got married the week Sara Payne went missing I remember looking everyday while in Greece for English papers to see the news.

I was taking to a friend who said you shold never let your children play out with out being there but when I think back 20 years we went all over.

Well if that is true I hope the police prosecute them no matter what they should have said she was there, if she didn't want to go home SS would have listened as she is old enough to know her own mind.

new info may not be grand parents some reports suggest police broke into a house and came out with her. Man lives there alone, informant was neighbour who heard footsteps

This is wonderful news!

Its a nightmare when kids going missing, even if for a few hours or overnight when they're teenagers.
My daughter disappeared overnight but somethinhg told me she hadnt run off or been abducted. She was right at the beginning of teengedom at about 12yrs old. Turned out she had been dabbling with friends drinking and gone to my sisters about 200 yards away who put her to bed, then they went to bed as they do at 10am and didnt think to alert me! It was about 3pm the next day when I was phoned and told by my neice who only found out when my sister droped by for a visit and just happened to mention she was at her house! Can you believe it??!!

I was furious with her as you can imagine. I had driven past her house and with it being in darkness as is usually is at 10.30, didnt think I would need to call. She actually said "when you didnt come for her we went to bed!" I asked her how did she ever think I would guess her to be there! I dont get on with this sister because she is awkward anyway so part of me thinks she did it on purpose. Its surprising what people will do.
