I think you need to talk to your provider for employers liability insurance and mentions specifically what minor age groups you will take on for work experience and they will prob ask questions like whether you have a written H&S policy etc. You would also prob need to meet with work experience co-ordinator before they let people come and work with you and you get a whole pack of stuff including things like CRB checks, risk assessments for making a cup of tea etc.
also if they will be in a vehicle as part of work experience you need to talk to vehicle insurers again to have the cover included specifically for minors.
I used to do this a lot and they really know their stuff and as they want to get kids work experience they will really try to help you and get the right stuff in place.
