Well I have to post this message and hopefully will give you a thought on how you conduct your business.
What do you do when you are contacted ref to supply a service or product?
What do you do to confirm the order? do you except verbal!!!
I have many clients who do trade were a verbal I agree to your quote or brief and then supply the goods. What happens then the customer doesnt want to pay the bill and the trouble starts. We have had cases that have only supplied the invoice as evidence. It is a lot better if you have something signed like a terms and conditions of service. Keep this on file.
SO whether the order is a one in lifetime, please please protect yourselfs and draft something up and get it signed.........
Best of luck......
