Had someone email us who wants to place a order...he lives in Jersey and has pointed out that VAT is not liable for any goods sent there.
Im sure I am being dumb, how does that affect us, we are not VAT registered but the goods we buy obviously have VAT added.....Do I just sell them to him for what they are listed on the website.
If you aren't VAT reg'd, then you sell them at the same price on the site. Just reply to him saying you are not VAT registered, and thus don't charge VAT.

If you were VAT registered then you would still charge VAT to any business or individual within the EU. If the purchaser was a VAT reg'ed business in the EU but not in the UK then as long as they supply a valid VAT number you would not have to charge them VAT.
