I have just written a knol and I can't really understand the difference between the three different copywrite models they ask you to choose from. can eanyone explain to me in simple terms please?.

If you go for 'All Rights reserved' it means that you own all rights and nobody can use the content without your express permission. The Creative commons licence means (I think) that people can share and use it to an extent.
Unfortunately, people are going to copy it regardless...
