I am going back to working at home asap! I have a good mail order business going now, and can get my wholesale orders delivered directly by my suppliers so there is no need for a warehouse. I am going to get a big shed for my garden to store my stuff, fed up of working to pay the landlord and council! Am looking forward to being at home more for my kids too!

I work at home with my 2 pre-school children which can be hard at times. My son will be 3 in October and was at nursery 2 afternoons a week until summer holidays hit. Having said that, he is starting 5 mornings from September so that will make things easier. He gets very bored very easily! My daughter will be 1 in October and she is at the crawling stage too (I think someone else mentioned that) and into everything.
I also feel guilty that I should be doing more with them. I do try and make some sort of arrangement most days though in the morning or afternoon then work the other half the day and in the evenings. Often late like now!
I am a Virtual Assistant so can help with any administrative or secretarial work that clients need doing.
I've been working from home for five years now, and it does get easier to ride out the ups and downs: I'm more aware of the need to plan for holidays, and as the kids get older they occupy themselves better! DD has done a week of tennis camp this holiday, and wants to do another week: it is only 10-1, but as long as I can work out a way to keep ds occupied at the same time that's enough to keep things ticking over throughout the summer.

I do the school run (2 different schools), I take my kids to tennis coaching and tournaments, I look after them during the holidays, I help them with their homework, and I run them to the swimming baths when they get bored.
