I know I am a little late on this one however I agree that working from home is the best. We have transformed one of our rooms into an office ,we have all that you need that you would normally get if you was working from a warehouse or an external office.

The way to go now is wireless networking all your printers etc so no matter where you are you can print or work remotely, its FAB in the summer I can relax in the garden and work away to my hearts content.

Even the phone system we have which is VOIP (Voice over Internet) via BT we have a gadget on our pc's which is an office communicator and all we need to do is use a bluetooth headset and the BT office communicator bish bash job done. even if I am away from the office regardless of where I am as long as you have access to the internet and have my laptop with me the office is there with me we can make and receive calls all via the same system fax etc.

Any way enough of me babbling on I am sure you are bored now but yes I think more business should work from home and cut down the cost's of renting other properties. We all know keep overheads down and profit up.

I couldn't imagine going back to an office and being restricted to office hours; booking your holiday/time-off months in advance; having a boss etc. It takes a while working from home, but now I'm used to it. Although I still don't do all the things that I thought I would do, working from home like taking time out to sunbathe in the garden; going to the gym in the mornings; making smoothies and healthy lunches every day etc!

I've recently set up my business from home and I just love it. I agree I'm not doing all the things I thought I would (healthy salads for lunch, fresh juices and smoothies), and I drink too much coffee, but it's fabulous to work the hours I choose (customer deadlines permitting) and look out over the garden or potter in between jobs.

This is great! Good for you! Although, I think it depends on what type of business you have and what type of PERSON you are Some people find it hard to concentrate at home... plus the kids/dogs/partners are always in the way
